Here are the latest copies of the compliance database. These are the 1998-09-11 updates:

For version 3.3N:

For version 3.4N and newer:

db4.zip

Instructions:

  1. Download the relevant file.
  2. Unzip the file to create "db.mdb".
  3. If MBTK for Networks is running close it down.
  4. Move the "db.mdb" to the MBTK directory, typically "C:\Program Files\MBTK for Networks 3.Xn".
  5. Run the toolkit which will then automatically import the new information.

36PrintUpdate.exe
497kb

Instructions for use:

  3. Close the toolkit if running.
  4. Copy unzipped files to toolkit installation directory.
  5. Run the toolkit.

Importation Bug

In a number of copies of version 4.X importation of client results is limited to one client per refresh. This can be ammended by taking the following steps :

:

server.exe

528k

Download the self extracting executable file 'server.exe' from this page.

  1. Decompress the downloaded file to the Millennium Bug Toolkit's installation directory, overwriting the current version of the executable file, also named server.exe.
  2. Run the toolkit

Printing Bug

In some copies of version 4.1 (minor release 4.1.15 - see splash screen to check) the setup was missing a file necessary for printing capabilities. To resolve this problem follow these steps :

:

vsview2.exe

110k
  1. Download Vsview2.exe from this webpage
  2. Decompress Vsview2.exe into your system's windows directory. If you are running Windows 95 or 98 this will be c:\windows\system. If you are running NT then this will be c:\winNT\system32
  3. Register the file 'Vsview2.ocx' for use by your system by using the window's utility regsvr32 from the command line (Windows Start Menu|Run). eg - for windows 95 or 98 regsvr32 c:\windows\system\Vsview2.ocx
  4. Run the toolkit NB - if you upgraded to this version then you may have the file already courtesy of your previous installation.
